Aurora Matilde Humarán is a poet and a certified translator from English to Spanish with the University of Buenos Aires. Her works are inspired by Jorge Luis Borges. Her passions and interests  are varied and she is a voracious reader. 

She is a founding member and President of the International Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters.

She also holds a degree from the Law School (University of Buenos Aires, 1982). She is a Certified Proofreader and Copy Editor (Fundación Litterae-Fundéu, 2005) of Studies in Marketing (Argentine Business University) and Advertising (University of Business and Social Sciences).

Ms. Humaran is also a corresponding Member of the North American Academy of the Spanish Language.
