Translating/Traducir

Translating is saying again
With a different color,
Questioning barriers
Claiming bridges.
Translating we say no
To a lonesome, isolated world.
Translating we say yes
To the polychromatic human animal.
This craft is science and magic,
Alchemy that brings us together.
A messenger’s arrow. Sap.
It is an infallible tool of peace
And uniting us it reminds us
That a better world is possible.

Traducir es decir otra vez
con un color diferente
cuestionando las barreras
reivindicando los puentes.
Traduciendo decimos que no
a un mundo solitario, aislado.
Traduciendo decimos que sí
al polícromo animal humano.
Es oficio, ciencia y magia,
alquimia que nos acerca.
Flecha comunicante. Savia.
Es arma de paz infalible
y uniéndonos nos recuerda
que un mundo mejor es posible.
