Wael Al Jishi
The Poetic Heart 2020 welcomes Wael Al Jishi.
A Lebanese poet and journalist, Wael Al Jishi is currently working with Al Khaleej Times as an Editorial Secretary. He has over 40 years of experience and is one of the founders of the cultural journalism movement in the UAE. He was also the founding member of The Association for the Protection of the Arabic language in Sharjah.
Wael al Jishi’s play ‘A Lover of Glory’ has been added to a collection of articles titled ‘Spaces of a pen’. He has participated in multiple cultural events abroad and has been part of innumerable judging committees. Wael Al Jishi has supervised the cultural pages in UAE newspapers and has actively sponsored talent in the region.
The Poetic Heart is honoured to have Wael Al Jishi as one of it’s distinguished poets.
