The Invincible Spirit
Since the inception of the human race,
Responsible is man for the atrocity he showers at pace,
Of many a crime and a big disgrace,
Oh! The scars of prejudice and burning animosity,
Discernible on every black mans face ambiguity.
Why then the colour of your skin or ethinicity,
Should encompass social, economic and political vicinity.
Why don’t we work towards doing greater charity,
And serve the greater cause of reaching all humanity.
Justice for all had proved to be an elusive goal,
A treacherous blow to every berieved soul.
Why then we have every cause to hate each other,
And not one good reason to love one another.
Where hatred thrives peace is certainly precarious,
Injustice will arouse indignation and that’s obvious.
My plea to mankind is to reach out to every limit,
And kindle in our hearts love and the invincible spirit.
This invincible spirit imperative for our living,
Connecting us together for selfless committing,
We pledge together to keep striving,
For tireless perfection which will keep us driving.
