Mohammed Qaratas

Mohammad Qaratas is an Omani Poet and novelist. He was born in 1972 in Salalah-Dhofar, Oman.

He started writing poems in an early age. He has participated in many poetry and literature conferences as well as many events around the arabic world from Abu Dhabi to Rabat. He published in well-known Arabic magazines and newspapers since 1998. He is working on three books at the meantime.

Mr. Qaratas is holding a Master Degree in Engineering from UK.

He has published two poetry books, namely : Ma Warethaho Alddawa via Dar Alinteshar Alarbi ( Lebanon), and Taghrebt Bah Alarab via Dar Nainawa (Syria).

He has also published a novel by the name of Alaatab via Dar Alsaqi ( Lebanon).
