About the Poet
Ruchika, is a 16-year-old student at Merryland International School. Some of her hobbies include playing the keyboard, painting, and dancing. Growing up, her curiosity has never faded and has been a faithful companion in opening new realms of knowledge. Hence, she plan on pursuing engineering and one of my long-term goals is to be a good person and morally upright. Language and literature seem to go hand in hand and are amongst her most fascinating areas of interest. She is proficient in Spanish as she has spent majority of her life in Spain. When she thinks back over her middle school life, she remembers how, as a kid, she used to struggle with poetry, looking fruitlessly for inspiration. However, while growing up she realized that the creativity is part of expressing oneself and self-actualization, which altered her perspective. Now aware, she eagerly embrace lifelong learning, finding joy in unravelling the world’s complexities and exploring the wonderlands of language.
