They fall even go leafless
But in time they only smile after blooming
Even while dying, they do not give up desire to live

There is repeated curiosity to live in their lives

Is there only arrival and departure, living and dying in this world
Then why to cry on the fleeting life
They are not disappointed by the deceit of those tricksters.

गिर जाते हैं झड़ जाते हैं पत्र हीन भी हो जाते हैं
पर कालांतर मे ये ही तो पुष्पित हो कर मुसकाते हैं
मर मर करभी छोड़ न देते जीने की अभिलाषा
सीखो तुम भी इन वृक्षों से जीवन की परिभाषा !!

क्या प्रेम नहीं इनको पत्रों से शोक नहीं इनके झड़ने का
हृदयहीन निर्मम निष्ठुर हैं तोड़ दिया जो नाता इनका
नहीं नहीं ये तो करते हैं नवजीवन की आशा
सीखो तुम भी इन वृक्षों से जीवन की परिभाषा !!

पत्रहीन होकर भी ये अटल अचल क्यों रहते हैं
सब कुछ जीवन में खोकर भी प्रभाव मुक्त क्यों रहते हैं
इनके जीवन में जाने की बार बार होती जिज्ञासा

इस जगति पर क्या  है केवल आना जाना जीना मरना
फिर क्षणभंगुर जीवन पर क्या विलाप रूदन करना
उस छलिये की छलना से इन्हें न कोई निराशा
