O my Lord, do not answer to my prayer if I do not fear You alone!
If I tremble in front of everyone, I think could rule my destiny!
Do not protect me, o my Lord, if I do not believe in Your protection alone!
O my God, do not answer to my prayer, if I think my faith makes my superior
As, instead of your gift, it is my merit!
O my Lord, do not consider me among the believers, if I boast to be such!

O my Lord, do not answer me if I implore you for my right,
But of the other rights I do not care!
O my Lord! Do not reserve me any attention if I think my self-superior to other human beings or if I disdain Your holy creation!
O my Lord! Please forgive me, because every human being is born weak
But, sometimes, he searches for strength where there is not.
