New nation to craft,

Founding fathers thought to draft.

A declaration of independence,

A nation with guarantee of

Freedom for its descendants.

Thousands came to face millions,

Emiratis’ against other nation;

None lost their tolerance,

Even though their land had no fence.

People came with lot many intentions

To take over and build a new nation.

The founding fathers of the seven states,

Together called the trucial states

With tolerance and peace

Signed a federation with the British.

It was on 2nd of December 1971

The dream of a nation,

By the founding fathers of

The  trucial states, became,

“The United Arab Emirates.”

All the hard work paid off

People lead a life well off,

Not only to its descendants

But also its residents.

Being a home to the tallest building

And lot many wonders,

People over the world come

Pause and ponder with awe and wonder.

Bridges are built the with different nations

With lot many expectations

Without any discrimination

Too see and enjoy the beauty of the country’s creation.

Words seem to be less

To tell about a country

Which is faultless.

That brings me to an end

Of a true story where

The nation’s father’s expectations transcend.
