Hands once locked together
now torn apart,
Contrasting similarities in each other,
and all of us contain a heart,
controlled by lust,
controlled by logic
or controlled by love,
Rose colored glasses conceal
and cherry-picked solutions reveal,
disagreements, wars and threats
only for little needs to be met,
hands told to be locked together
and no one left asunder,
all distorted to deceive.
