We Lost It

Somewhere between staying up all night for fun to studying all night,

We grew up.

Somewhere between when our worst enemies our siblings became the closest to us,

We grew up.

Somewhere between crying on dad’s shoulder to crying alone,

We grew up.

Somewhere between sharing everything with your mom to keeping it locked in the chambers of our hearts,

We grew up.

Somewhere between having a night out with friends to watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S alone,

We grew up.

Somewhere between happy endings and reality,

We grew up.

Somewhere between a huge group of friends to those few special ones,

We grew up.

Somewhere between fixing broken toys to fixing broken dreams,

We grew up.

We wanted to grow up, what were we thinking?

And..

Somewhere between those lines,

We learnt to be in peace in spite of turbulence in life

Tolerate people and build bridges.
